Is to let go of everything I miss.
The familiar, the known, all that is safe,
I let you go - into the waves.
That wave will carry you far away,
So that I may live each and every day.
I will live a life fresh and clear,
Each day an adventure without the fear.
You can go now, wash away from me,
I will live my life as I want to be.
A new beginning at the foot of the shore,
A step into the water, I feel the ocean floor.
A refreshing sensation fills up my soul,
To release you is my ultimate goal.
So I let you go into my sea,
Never forgetting what you mean to me.
My world starts new, concise and clear,
I let you go and embark on my new year.
The poem is so beautiful and I know how hard it was for you to get to that point. You should be proud of yourself and really embrace this new path you are on. Welcome to the blog world!
